Endeavor - J-Class Extraordinaire by Rich Myers

     She was a very fast challenger - arguably the fastest J ever built. She certainly threw a scare into the New York Yacht Club for the 1934 defense. Winning the first two races, she had only to take one of the next three to capture "The Cup." As luck would have it, she couldn't manage. Superior "Rainbow" crew work and some daring afterguard decisions made the difference and demoralized the British challengers.
